Terms of Service
Welcome to BRETON CIDER SHOP. These terms of service ("Terms") apply to your use of bretoncider.com and to all purchases made through this store. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. BRETON CIDER SHOP is operated from 43 Broad Street, Bristol BS1 2EP, United Kingdom (company registration number 17006220). You can contact us at bretoncider@gmail.com or +44 7947 955656.
1. Age restriction — alcohol sales
It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the United Kingdom. By placing an order for any alcoholic product you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and that the person who will receive the delivery is aged 18 or over. We operate a Challenge 25 policy: the courier may require valid photographic ID (passport or driving licence) on delivery, and the delivery will be refused if proof of age cannot be provided. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where we reasonably believe the purchaser or recipient is under 18. Please drink responsibly — visit drinkaware.co.uk for more information.
2. Orders
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email and payment has been processed. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where a product is unavailable, where there is a pricing error, or where we believe the order breaches the age restriction above; in that case you will be refunded in full.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
4. Delivery
Delivery is described in our Shipping Policy. Deliveries containing alcohol require the signature of an adult aged 18 or over. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
5. Returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel and return products are described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
6. Products
We take care to describe and photograph our ciders accurately, but labels, vintages and packaging may vary from the images shown. Alcohol by volume (ABV) is stated on each product page and on the bottle.
7. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — this store supplies products for private consumption only.
8. Events and wholesale enquiries
Cases supplied for weddings and events are sold under these same Terms. For large orders please contact us first so we can confirm availability and delivery arrangements.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
